The Tigers are 5-3 overall, 3-0 in the ODAC (1st), and have won two straight and three of their last four games. Head Coach Jason Rostan '03
H-SC is led by the 10th-year head coach, who took over the program on June 3, 2016, after 13 years as an assistant. Rostan is the fourth head coach in the 50-year history of the Tiger lacrosse program. Rostan is 113-49 overall at the college and holds the highest winning percentage in program history (.697).

Roanoke leads the all-time series 33-14. The series has been even over the last seven meetings, with the Tigers winning three and the Maroons winning four, including the last two. Coach Rostan is 3-5 against the Maroons, including 1-2 at home since taking over in 2016. The first match up between the schools was during the inaugural season of the program in 1976, which was a 31-0 loss for H-SC.

Roanoke is led by first-year head coach Grant Zimmerman, and lost its most recent game to ODAC member (16)Washington and Lee University 14-10 on March 18 in Lexington. The Maroons are led offensively by seniors Julian Kammerman (14 goals, 7 assists, 21 points), Clayton Bewick (12 goals, 6 assists, 18 points), Patrick Cullen (13 goals, 4 assists, 17 points), and Noah Bell (11 goals, 2 assists, 13 points). Defensively, the Maroons are led by sophomore Ike Dutton (15 caused turnovers, 28 ground balls). Freshman David Hamilton is the projected starter in net for Roanoke. He has a 5-2 record with 71 saves, a 56.8 save percentage, and a 9.14 goals against average. The Maroons average 14.86 goals, and yield 8.57 goals, for a 6.29 scoring margin.

50 Years of Tiger Lacrosse
H-SC enters its 50th season of lacrosse on the Hill, and started from a group of lacrosse enthusiasts in 1973 in Morton Hall, playing its first varsity season in 1976. From that point, the Tigers have amassed an overall record of 479-269, while being 194-90 in the ODAC. H-SC over that time has had a winning season 41 times, only being under .500 on five occasions. The Tigers have made nine NCAA Tournament appearances, won five ODAC Championships, had 238 All-ODAC Selections, 92 All-Americans, including six First-Team Selections, one National Player of the Year, and 20 H-SC Hall of Fame selections.
