Cole Palmer (Atlanta, GA) were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as announced by the organization today.
Will Palmer earns All-American honors following his First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors two weeks ago. He started all 19 games for the Tigers in net, making 200 saves, with a 9.80 goals against average, a .563 save percentage, and a 10-9 record. He ranked second in the ODAC in save percentage, third in saves, and fourth in goals against average, and was in the top 50 in the country in save percentage.
Van Lunen earns All-American honors for the first time in his career. The First Team All-ODAC selection played in all 19 games at long stick midfield, causing a team-high 32 turnovers and grabbing 48 ground balls. In addition to his defense, he added 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points, all career highs. Van Lunen ranked fifth in the ODAC in caused turnovers this season.
Cole Palmer earns All-American honors for the first time after a Second Team All-ODAC selection. He started all 19 games, scoring a team-high 43 goals while adding 16 assists for a team-high 59 points, adding 47 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. His 49 goals place him fifth in the conference, while being eighth in the conference in points.
