HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College is the #4 seed for the upcoming 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Basketball Tournament that will be played February 24-28. The Tigers will host #5 seed the University of Lynchburg in a Quarterfinal game on Tuesday night, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. on Tony Shaver Court in Diaz Arena at Kirby Field House. The semifinals and championship will be played on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28, at the Salem Civic Center.
 
The Tigers of seventh-year head coach Caleb Kimbrough finished their regular season with an overall record of 16-9, including 10-6 in the ODAC to finish fourth among the 12 conference schools and earn the #4 seed for the postseason tournament. H-SC completed the regular season with three-straight wins and four wins in its last five games overall. The Tigers are 63-36 all-time in ODAC Tournament games and have played in 16 ODAC Tournament Championship games, winning 11 ODAC Tournament Titles, the most recent in 2024 ... defeating Washington and Lee University 81-56. The 63 tournament wins, 16 championship appearances and 11 titles are all the most of any conference school.
 
Lynchburg finished at 14-11 overall, including 9-7 in the ODAC. H-SC and the Hornets split two games during the regular season with each school winning at home. The Tigers won 87-81 last month on January 17 in Diaz Arena in a contest that was tied at 36-36 at halftime, before the Garnet & Grey used a 26-12 run midway through the second half toward the victory. Lynchburg won 77-67 earlier this month on Feb. 11 in Turner Gym in a contest that H-SC trailed 37-21 at halftime, but were within 67-62 late, before the hosts secured their win with 8-8 free throws over the final 1:12.
 
Randolph-Macon College (23-2, 14-2) is the top seed for the ODAC Tournament and will host #8 seed and defending tournament champion Guilford (NC) College (13-12, 7-9) on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The other two Quarterfinal contests on Feb. 24 include #2 seed Virginia Wesleyan University (18-7, 13-3) hosting #7 seed Averett University (15-9, 8-8), and #3 seed Roanoke College (19-6, 12-4) hosting #6 seed Washington and Lee (17-8, 9-7).

The ODAC Tournament Semifinals will take place on Friday night, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., followed by the ODAC Tournament Championship game on Saturday night, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. – the semifinals and championship being played at the Salem Civic Center.

Tickets are $10 for adults and are available online-only at HomeTown Ticketing, while admission is free for H-SC and Lynchburg students with their respective college IDs and free for high school students and younger.
