Colin Radcliffe (Richlands, NC) scored 20 points, including six three-point field goals, adding a career-high eight rebounds, and sophomore guard
Travis Stickney (Mount Pleasant, SC) had 16 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high six assists off the bench, to lead Hampden-Sydney College to a 69-57 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's basketball home win past Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon on Tony Shaver Court in Diaz Arena at Kirby Field House. The host Tigers led from start to finish, including 33-26 at halftime, and secured the victory with 6-6 free throws over the final 50-seconds.
Sophomore guard
Peter Moye (Charlotte, NC) added nine points and a career-high and game-high 11 rebounds off the bench as well for the Garnet & Grey. H-SC completed the regular season with a final record of 16-9 overall, 10-6 in the ODAC to secure the fourth seed for the upcoming ODAC Tournament (see below). Washington and Lee finished at 17-8 overall, 9-7 in the ODAC, and was led by Connor Amorosi with a game-high 21 points.

H-SC led from start to finish for the second consecutive game, scoring the first six points en route to an early 17-4 advantage just 5:10 in … with senior guard and team captain
Grayson Schultz (Moseley) getting it started with a free throw at 19:46 for his first collegiate point, along with a three-pointer by senior guard
Davis Cauble (Richmond) along with consecutive three-pointers by Radcliffe as well as an old-fashioned three-point play by junior guard
William Britt (Richmond). The Tigers took their largest lead of the opening half after two more three-pointers from Radcliffe, making it 25-10 at 10:52, and the Garnet & Grey maintained a double-figure lead for most of the remaining 10-plus minutes before W&L scored the final five points of the half for a 33-26 halftime margin. Radcliffe finished the half with 12 points, while Amorosi scored 13 for the Generals.
W&L closed to within four early in the second half at 36-32 following a basket by Colin Ryan at 17:23; however, H-SC answered with five-straight points to lead 41-32 with 14:41 remaining. The Tigers pushed the advantage to 51-39 after two free throws by Moye at 8:09, but the Generals closed to within 57-51 with 3:25 left after a three-pointer by Addison Newkirk. The Garnet & Grey responded with six-straight points, including a three-pointer by Moye for a 63-51 advantage at 1:52, and the hosts secured the important victory with 6-8 free throws from sophomore guard
Tugg Bizzelle (Baltimore, MD) (2-2), freshman guard
Tyree White (Indian Trail, NC) (2-3) and Stickney (2-2).
Radcliffe led H-SC with his 20 points, including the six three-pointers, adding his career-high eight rebounds. Stickney added his 16 points, 10 rebounds and game-high six assists off the bench for the Tigers. Moye had his nine points and career-high and game-high 11 rebounds off the bench, as well. H-SC shot 37% (21-57) from the field, including 35% (9-26) on three-pointers, and 72% (18-25) at the free throw line. The Tigers enjoyed a 41-17 advantage in bench points.
Amorosi led W&L with his game-high 21 points, adding five rebounds, three assists and a game-high three steals. AJ Thomas finished with 13 points off the bench for the Generals. W&L shot 30% (19-63) from the field, including 28% (9-32) on three-pointers, and 59% (10-17) at the line.

H-SC has earned the number four seed for the 2026 ODAC Men's Basketball Tournament and will host number five seed the University of Lynchburg on Tuesday night, February 24, at 7 p.m. in Diaz Arena. Adults tickets are $10 and are available online-only at
