Vince Luvara has announced his program's upcoming
2026 Schedule that includes seven Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) games, including the 131st Edition of "The Game" at home against archrival Randolph-Macon College to conclude the regular season on November 14 on Fulton Field at Lewis C. Everett Stadium. The Tigers open the campaign on the road at Wabash College in The Gentlemen's Classic on Saturday, September 5, at 12 p.m. in Crawfordsville, Indiana. H-SC completed 2025 with a final record of 7-3 overall, including 5-3 in the ODAC for fourth place, the best record for the program since 2013 (9-3), while equaling the win total of 2014 (7-4).
"We're excited for another challenging and diverse schedule this year," said Luvara. "Facing two defending conference champions and four additional top-three teams from their conferences will serve as a great measuring stick for our football program."
H-SC begins on the road in week one at non-conference opponent
Wabash (IN) College in the fifth playing of
The Gentlemen's Classic, which began in 2014. The Little Giants have won all four of the previous games in the series, including a 29-28 road win in 2023 at Everett Stadium. Wabash finished 2025 at 9-2 overall, 6-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference for third place, and played in the ForeverLawn Bowl. Wabash and H-SC are two of only three remaining all-male, four-year schools in the country.
The Tigers return to the Hill in week two for their home opener against non-conference opponent
Monmouth (IL) College on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. on Fulton Field at Everett Stadium. The Fighting Scots finished 2025 at 9-2 overall, 9-0 in the Midwest Conference for first place, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Playoffs in their eighth postseason appearance overall. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs, and
Hall of Fame Weekend at the College.
H-SC is back on the road in week three at non-conference opponent the
University of New England (ME)Â on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 12 p.m. in Biddeford, Maine. The Nor'easters finished 2025 at 8-2 overall, 5-2 in the Conference of New England for third place. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Following a bye week, the Tigers play the first of seven consecutive ODAC games … beginning on the road in week five at
Shenandoah University on Saturday, October 3, at 1 p.m. in Winchester. The Hornets finished 2025 at 8-3 overall, 6-2 in the ODAC for second place, and played in the Cape Henry Bowl. The Garnet & Grey took a 42-7 home win past SU last Sept. 20.
H-SC remains on the road in week six at
Roanoke College on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. in Salem. The Maroons finished 2025 at 5-4 overall, 4-4 in the ODAC to tie for fourth place. The Garnet & Grey took a 35-10 home win past RC last Oct. 25.
The Tigers return home in week seven during
Homecoming Weekend against
Guilford (NC) College on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. at Everett Stadium. The Quakers finished 2025 at 2-7 overall, 1-7 in the ODAC to tie for seventh place. The Garnet & Grey took a 69-14 road win at GC last Sept. 27.
H-SC is back on the road in week eight at
Washington and Lee University on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. in Lexington. The Generals finished 2025 at 7-4 overall, 6-2 in the ODAC for third place, and played in the Cape Charles Bowl. The Garnet & Grey dropped a 42-34 decision at home to W&L last Oct. 4.
The Tigers return home in week nine during
Family Weekend and
Senior Day against
Averett University on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. at Everett Stadium—the fifth game during the month of October. The Cougars finished 2025 at 1-8 overall, 1-7 in the ODAC to tie for seventh place. The Garnet & Grey took a 67-7 road win at AU last Oct. 18.
H-SC is back on the road in week 10 at
Bridgewater College on Saturday, November 7, at 2 p.m. in Bridgewater. The Eagles finished 2025 at 3-6 overall, 4-4 in the ODAC to tie for fourth place after an administrative conference forfeit win. The Garnet & Grey dropped a 45-42 decision at home to BC last Nov. 8.
The Tigers are home in week 11 to complete the regular season against archrival
Randolph-Macon in the 131st Edition of
"The Game" on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. on Fulton Field at Everett Stadium. The four-time defending conference champion Yellow Jackets finished 2025 at 9-2 overall, 8-0 in the ODAC for first place, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. The Garnet & Grey dropped a 42-14 road decision at RMC last Nov. 15. H-SC continues to lead the all-time series against the Yellow Jackets, 60-59-11; however, RMC has won 12-straight and 14 of the last 15 games played between the two storied programs in a contest that is considered the
Oldest Small School Rivalry in the South. The Tigers' last win in the series was in 2013, a 28-26 road win in Ashland.
