Robert Clarke (Atlanta, GA), along with juniors
James Bishop (Jacksonville, FL) and
Camden Richardson (Midlothian), have each been named a member of the
2025 Academic All-District® Football Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) for NCAA Division III. The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA.
Robert Clarke is an economics and business major with a minor in rhetoric, and has a 3.61 GPA as a Dean's List student (seven semesters). On the field, the second-year team captain and linebacker started all 10 games and co-led the team with 69 tackles, including 25 solo, 10.0 for loss, 6.0 sacks, one interception, two pass breakups and one forced fumble. A Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) selection, he was third in the ODAC in sacks, seventh in tackles for loss and tied for 11th in tackles. Robert was a semifinalist for the
2025 William V. Campbell Trophy® and a recipient of the Harrison Honors Scholarship, the Middlecourt Scholarship and the Eagle Scout Scholarship. Clarke is a member of The President's Men, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honors Society and Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, is a member of and former President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and a member of the Tiger Athletic Club. He was also selected to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District® Football Team and is a three-time ODAC All-Academic Team (2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25) honoree.
James Bishop is a history major with a minor in national security studies, and has a 3.54 GPA as a Dean's List student (four semesters). On the field, the wide receiver played in all 10 games with four receptions for 36 receiving yards, including a long reception of 15 yards. James is a recipient of the Venable Scholarship and a member of both Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and the Tiger Athletic Club. He is a two-time ODAC All-Academic Team (2023-24, 2024-25) honoree.
Camden Richardson is an economics and business major, and has a 3.73 GPA as a Dean's List student (five semesters). On the field, the punter/placekicker played in nine games and averaged 36.8 yards on 24 punts with a long punt of 55 yards, five inside the 20, and four fair-caught. He was 2-2 on field goal attempts, including a long of 30 yards, while 20-22 (.909) on PAT attempts and also averaged 55.0 yards on six kickoffs. Richardson ranked fifth in the ODAC in punting average, tied for fifth in field goals and was seventh in kick scoring (26 points). Camden is a recipient of the Middlecourt Scholarship and a two-time member of the ODAC All-Academic Team (2023-24, 2024-25).
Robert Clarke was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on January 27. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
