LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Junior Jackson Herndon (Chatham) posted a time of 4:06.76 in the outdoor 1500 meter run to lead Hampden-Sydney College at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational on Friday night hosted by the University of Lynchburg at the Shellenberger Field & Dr. Jack M. Toms Track in Lynchburg. Herndon finished 17th among 24 runners in the 1500 Invite that was won by Tommy Crum of NCAA Division II Shippensburg (PA) University with a time of 3:57.52.

H-SC will continue and complete its competition in the two-day event on Saturday, March 28, beginning at 10:50 a.m. in Lynchburg.
