MEET RESULTS
SALEM, Va. -- Junior
Jackson Herndon (Chatham) posted a time of 1:56.72 in the indoor 800 meter run to place second among 46 runners, while leading Hampden-Sydney College at the
Joe LaRocco Invite hosted by Roanoke College on Saturday at the Cregger Center in Salem. Herndon finished just behind Roanoke's Elias Ammom and his winning time of 1:55.92.
Sophomore
Jordan Chorbaji (Charlottesville) posted a collegiate-best time of 4:41.90 in the indoor mile to place 25th among 61 runners, just off the school-record time of 4:40.2. Junior
Jefferson Duffey (Keysville) also ran the indoor mile and posted a time of 5:37.41 to finish 60th. The University of Lynchburg's Aidan Riggle won the event with his time of 4:25.27.
Freshman
Jack Ruble (Floyd) also competed in the indoor 800 and posted a collegiate-best time of 2:26.15 to finish 42nd.
H-SC will compete again at the
2026 ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Roanoke College on February 28-March 1 at the Cregger Center in Salem.
