West Pines Collegiate being played at the West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville, Georgia. The Tigers posted their lowest 18-hole team round since 2022 (274), and their lowest 36-hole score since 2019 (559), and stand third among the 24 teams in the collegiate event, while Teegardin is tied for seventh individually among the 128 golfers. Joseph Weinstein (Midlothian) is playing as an individual and also posted a collegiate-best for 36 holes at five-under par 69-68—137, as well, that is also tied for seventh individually.
Teegardin had 10 birdies—seven in round two for his collegiate-best round of 66—and 22 pars during his two rounds at the par 71, 6,801-yard course, while Weinstein also had 10 birdies—six in round two while equaling his collegiate-best round of 68—and 21 pars during his two rounds. Wagner posted collegiate-bests for 18 and 36 holes, as well, and had six birdies and 23 pars during his rounds totaling even par. Williams had one eagle with a three on the par 5, 530-yard 17th hole, along with five birdies and 17 pars. Barnes had five birdies and 15 pars.
Tournament host Oglethorpe (GA) is leading the event with its 23-under par 274-271—545, while Ryan Gallagher of Oglethorpe is the individual leader after 36 holes at nine-under par 70-63—133. The Tigers are only three shots behind second place Christopher Newport (560) and one shot ahead of fourth place Shenandoah (564).
