HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Fifth-year team captain
Carter Burcham (Rockville) posted a time of 35:25.34 in the 10,000-meter run to lead Hampden-Sydney College on day one of the
2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Eastern Mennonite University on Friday evening at the new EMU Track Complex in Harrisonburg. Burcham finished 17th among 23 runners in the 10,000, the only event for the Tigers on the first day of the conference championships.

H-SC has an additional three competitors who have qualified for two events on Saturday, including senior
Kade Minton (Wytheville) and freshman
Jordan Chorbaji (Charlottesville) in the 1500-meter run, along with sophomore
Jackson Herndon (Chatham) in the 800-meter run. The two races are scheduled for approximately 2:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively, on day two of the ODAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The 10,000 was won by the University of Lynchburg's Aidan Riggle with a time of 31:38.07.
