Cochran Collegiate being played at the Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee. Senior All-American and team captain
Nick Rubino (Charlotte, NC) is leading the Tigers with his three-over par 72-75—147 that is tied for second individually among the 90 collegiate golfers.
Rubino posted a combined seven birdies and 18 pars during his opening two rounds on the par 72, 7,097-yard layout. He is being followed by freshman
Oliver Tobin (Charlotte, NC) (77-77—154, T-24th), senior
Rece Lott (Fort Worth, TX) (85-77—162, T-69th) and sophomore
Jack Barnes (Manakin Sabot) (82-80—162, T-69th), along with senior
John Hutcheson (Edina, MN) (83-84—167, T-83rd). Tobin posted a combined 11 birdies and 10 pars, Lott had eight birdies and 10 pars, Barnes had one eagle, nine birdies and nine pars, and Hutcheson had eight birdies and nine pars.
