HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College 10th-year head lacrosse coach Jason Rostan '03 has announced his program's 2026 schedule, which includes eight home games among 17 regular season contests and features 10 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) games. The schedule features seven teams that played in the 2025 Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament. The Tigers will open the season on Saturday, February 7, at home against Christopher Newport University at 1 p.m.

"Our 2026 schedule is one of the more challenging schedules in Division III Lacrosse, both out-of-conference and within one of the top lacrosse conferences nationally in the ODAC," said Rostan. "Every challenge provides a great opportunity, and our team is looking forward to meeting each opportunity head-on as we work and fight for an ODAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in our 50th season of Tiger Lacrosse."

After opening the season at home, H-SC goes on the road for the next four games between February and March, starting on Saturday, February 14 at 1 p.m. at Pfeiffer (NC) University. February closes with a 1 p.m. contest at Berry (GA) College on Saturday, the 21st, and a trip to St. Mary's College of Maryland at 6 p.m. on the 27th. March opens ODAC play and closes the road trip with a trip to Ashland to take on Randolph-Macon College at 1 p.m. on the 7th.

After four on the road, H-SC returns to the hill for four straight at home, starting with a non-conference clash with the University of Mary Washington on March 11. The Tigers then host Shenandoah University on March 14, Bridgewater College on March 18, and close the home stand with Roanoke College on March 21.

Following the home stand, H-SC goes on the road to Washington, D.C., to play a neutral site game against St. Lawrence (NY) University on March 25 at 3 p.m. at Georgetown Prep. The Tigers then return home to close non-conference action and close March against York College of Pennsylvania at 1 p.m. on the 28th.

April opens with a trip to Lexington to take on Washington and Lee University at 1 p.m. on the fourth. The Tigers return home for a game against Virginia Wesleyan University on the 8th at 7 p.m., before going on the road to take on Guilford (NC) College on the 11th and Randolph on the 15th.

The season closes with a home and road game for the Garnet and Grey, starting at home with a match-up with the University of Lynchburg at 7 p.m. on April 18, and closing with a road trip to Danville to take on Averett University at 6 p.m. on the 22nd.

The ODAC tournament features a new format this season, with eight teams advancing to the tournament. The quarterfinals will be hosted by the top four seeds, with the semifinals and finals being hosted at the highest remaining seeds. The ODAC quarterfinals will take place on April 27, with the semifinals on May 1, and the championship will take place on May 3.

H-SC completed 2025 with a final overall record of 12-6, finishing 7-3 in the ODAC for fourth place. The Tigers fell in the ODAC Quarterfinals to fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon.
