HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College has earned the No. 4 seed in the 2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Lacrosse Tournament, and will host a quarterfinal game against the No. 5 seed Randolph-Macon College on Tuesday, April 30 at 4:30 p.m. at Lewis C. Everett Stadium. The winner will take on top-seeded Washington and Lee University in the semifinals on Thursday, May 1.

"We are proud as a program for all that was worked and earned during a strong regular season; now we look forward to the all-important second season ahead of the ODAC Tournament," said head coach Jason Rostan '03. "Our full focus is on preparation for one game Tuesday against a strong Randolph-Macon team. We are excited for the opportunity to compete when it means the most!"

The Tigers completed the regular season with a 12-5 overall record, including 6-3 in the ODAC, to grab the fourth seed in this week's conference tournament. H-SC won a three-way tiebreaker with Randolph-Macon and Shenandoah that came down to results against the No. 1 seed Washington and Lee, which H-SC lost by one, Randolph-Macon by two, and Shenandoah by ten. H-SC was the second seed last season, losing to third-seeded Washington and Lee in the semifinals.

Defending ODAC champions Washington and Lee (13-4, 9-0) earned the top seed after going undefeated in conference play with wins over all teams in the tournament. The Generals will play the winner of H-SC and Randolph-Macon (13-4, 6-3). Lynchburg (12-5, 8-1) earned the second seed and will play the winner of the game between No. 3 seed Roanoke (13-4, 7-2) and No. 6 seed Shenandoah (10-7, 6-3). The Hornets earned the right to play the Maroons after defeating seventh-seed Guilford (NC) (8-9, 4-5) 14-4 in the first round.

Both quarterfinals will take place on April 30, with the semifinal taking place on May 1, and the final taking place on Saturday, May 5, at the highest remaining seed.
