Box Score HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Six different Tigers scored two or more goals and 15 different Tigers scored, as No. 20 Hampden-Sydney College took a 23-5 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory over Guilford College, Wednesday night on Fulton Field at Lewis C. Everett Stadium. Junior
Ray O'Brien (Scituate, MA) scored three goals and added an assist, while senior

Will Perry (Roanoke) got his seventh win of the season, after playing the first 30 minutes and making five saves.
Hanes got the scoring started at the 10:33 mark in the first quarter, as he beat his man clean to the left side and beat the keeper with a left-handed finish. Sophomore
Griff Ray (Lexington) made it 2-0 Tigers, as he made a hesitation move up top before taking his man right and finishing for the goal. Junior
Michael Leone (Vienna) struck just under two minutes later, as he took his man behind the goal before shielding him off on his left side and firing a right-handed sidearm shot into the back of the net. Sophomore
Campion White (Apex, NC) made a move left before spinning back right and found Saunders up top who stepped into a deep shot and found the back of the net less than a minute later. In transition, freshman
Cameron Young (Chantilly) led the break and found sophomore
Gaines Weis (Richmond) in the middle of the field who made a quick pass to the right to O'Brien for the goal. H-SC closed out the quarter as Saunders made a cross-field pass to Hanes who took a few steps into the shot and rifled it past the goalie to give H-SC a 6-0 lead after 15 minutes.
Hope opened up the scoring in the second quarter, as Leone made a pass out to the left side to Hope who then beat the keeper. Saunders added a second assist as he found Mack out wide, who made a quick spin and fired an underhand shot into the top of the net to make it eight unanswered for the Tigers. After a goal by the Quakers, Saunders answered after getting the ball up top after subbing on, he took off in a full sprint past his man and shot in between two defenders for the goal. O'Brien got his second, as following an offside by Guilford Weis caught the defense napping with a quick pass to O'Brien who beat the goalie one-on-one. Evan Yntema (Summerfield, NC) got a clean win on the face-off, he raced down and found Leone who found O'Brien right in front for the easy finish. Following a goal by Guilford, Hope picked up a ground ball off the face-off that rolled all the way into the attacking half and beat the keeper one-on-one for a quick goal. H-SC scored goal number 13 on a clear attempt that found the ball in the hands of sophomore
Conor Kilfeather (Wyndmoor, PA) who passed it off to junior
Matt Gemmell (Winston-Salem, NC) before getting it right back and beating the goalie. With the Tigers in transition again, senior
Jack Fechter (Potomac, MD) found O'Brien on the right side who quickly passed over to Hope on the right side who threw it down past the goalie to close out the second quarter at 14-2.
In the third quarter, H-SC picked up right where it left off, as White threw a pinpoint pass into traffic to find a cutting senior
Nick Sheer (Lakeville, MN) for the opening goal. Guilford battled back, scoring the next two goals before senior
Nick Thompson (Midlothian) answered after getting the feed from up top from Saunders. After providing two assists earlier in the game, White decided it was his time to find the back of the net, as he beat a couple of defenders before beating the goalie from the right side. Flagg got his first of the evening as he took the ball from the top left and ran across the field to finish on the right side and give H-SC an 18-4 lead after three-quarters of play.
Mack opened the scoring in the fourth quarter, after getting the pass from Sheer, he split two defenders before beating the goalie. The Quakers wasted no time answering, as they found the back of the net 28 seconds later. Three minutes later, Flagg added his second as he powered through a defender and faked a pass, before taking the ball all the way to the net and finishing with his left hand. Junior
Jacob Renaud (Schenectady, NY) scored his first career goal, after flashing open in the middle of the field, senior
Max Koontz (Winston-Salem, NC) found him with a pass and Renaud provided the finish. Koontz then found the back of the net himself, spinning a few times before firing into the top of the net for the goal. Senior
Aidan Byrne (Charlotte, NC) scored the final goal of the game, after getting the ball close to midfield he ran past all his defenders to get in front of the net for an easy finish and close out a 23-5 victory.
The Tigers will be back in action for senior day, on Saturday, April 15 when they take on ODAC foe Ferrum College. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Fulton Field at Lewis C. Everett Stadium.
