HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. – Registration is now available for the Tiger Soccer Camp at Hampden-Sydney College as announced by H-SC head soccer coach Tommy DiNuzzo.

The Tiger Soccer Camp at Hampden-Sydney is co-ed with an emphasis on player development. The primary focus for each camper is improving individual skill proficiency while having fun in a positive learning environment. Camp is for kids in Kindergarten up to 10th grade.

The half-day camp focuses on players having fun while learning basic skills in an atmosphere that builds self-confidence and teaches good sportsmanship. The curriculum will encourage the development of the youth soccer player (entering grades K-2). A variety of games will be used to teach ball control and small group interaction. Skill development, fun, and enthusiasm are shared throughout the week by coaches and players alike. The half-day camp is for kindergartners to second graders with a cost of $85, per camper.

The full day camp focuses on player development. The curriculum is intended for the youth player (entering grades 3-10) who wants to go beyond basic skills training. Players will be exposed to more advanced technical and tactical skills training as well as position play. The coaching staff will prepare the youth player with the knowledge and experience needed for their competitive season. The full-day camp is for third graders to 10th graders with a cost of $155, per camper.

The full-day camp runs from July 19 -23, 2021 and is from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. DiNuzzo and H-SC associate head coach Patrick Bain are on staff to help teach each camper. Please click the link above for more information and registration.
