HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College placed four student-athletes on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region VI Teams, including two Second Team and two Fourth Team. It is the first time the Tigers have had an All-Region honoree since 2011, and ties the most honorees the program has had.

Walker Stebbings (Forest) and junior
Tyler Petz (Cary, NC) earned Second Team honors, while senior
Victor Ovalle-Mares (Atlanta, GA) and junior
Mauricio Jimenez (Homestead, FL) earned Fourth Team honors.

Stebbings, an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) First Team honoree and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honoree, started all but one game he played this season. He was the top goalscorer on the Tigers with six goals while adding two assists for 14 points on the season. He scored in four games this season, including a two-goal performance to beat the University of Lynchburg.

Petz, a Second Team All-ODAC selection last month, started all 18 games he played this season, scoring one goal and having a team and ODAC high nine assists for 11 points. He started the season with two assists in the season-opening 5-1 win over Marymount University, and had assists in the following two games. Petz earned ODAC Defensive Player of the Week on September 15, when he scored a goal and tallied an assist, while helping H-SC secure a shutout.

Ovalle-Mares, a Second Team All-ODAC selection, started all 20 games this season for the Tigers, scoring three goals and adding four assists for 10 points. Victor scored and assisted to help the H-SC defeat Randolph 4-1 and move on to the ODAC Tournament Semifinals. Ovalle-Mares earned ODAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on November 3, scoring once and adding two assists during the week.

Jimenez, a Second Team All-ODAC selection, started all 20 games on the backline for the Tigers. He played the full 90 minutes on 14 of 20 occasions, helping H-SC allow less than a goal a game and secure eight shutouts.
