Hampden-Sydney Lacrosse shook off a sluggish first half to outscore Greensboro 11-0 in the second half for a 16-2 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Despite having a 38-7 shot advantage in the first half, strong ball stopping play from the Greensboro keeper along with several shots off the post or crossbar saw the Tigers leading just 5-2 after 30 minutes of play
• The Tigers wasted little time asserting themselves to open the second half as Hunter Brown needed just 18 seconds to score, then Chandler Shaheen and Charlie Doetzer scored back-to-back at 12:40 and 12:26
• Five other Tiger student-athletes would go on to score in the frame as Hampden-Sydney turned a 5-2 halftime lead into a 14-2 advantage after three quarters of play
• H-SC would go on to substitute liberally in the 4^th quarter as every healthy Tiger got to play as they added on two more goals and kept Greensboro off the scoreboard for the rest of the game

• The starting defense of Kent Henry, Marshall Via, Canevin Wallace, Tre Williams, Dylan Curry, and Garrett Patnesky allowed just nine shots through quarters
