  • The Cardinals scored the first two goals of the third quarter to go back ahead by three at 9:44, but Hunter Brown and Jack Doetzer found the back of the net at 4:30 and 3:48 to get back within one.

  • Levin found Connor Pool for a goal at 10:07, but Bennett Bradley answered back 50 seconds later
  • Just eight seconds after Bradley gave the Cardinals a three-point lead, Jared Arntzen won the face-off and fed it to Levin to cut the deficit to two, 12-10, at 9:09
  • Catholic's Dan Ennis drew a one-minute slashing penalty at 7:08 and the Tigers made them pay with a Chandler Shaheen extra-man score at 6:40 to make it a 12-11 Cardinals lead
  • Victor Licata helped put a halt to H-SC's momentum by finding the back of the net at 5:14 to go ahead by two
  • Brown brought the Tigers within one goal at 2:10 off a Doetzer assist
  • Catholic won the ensuing face-off and turned over the ball. The Tigers successfully cleared but gave away the ball with a minute to play, but Catholic turned the ball right back to H-SC after calling a timeout with 41 seconds left.
