BRIDGEWATER, VA – Hampden-Sydney Lacrosse rolled over Bridgewater College 18-6 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Head Coach Ray Rostan earned his 300th career win at Hampden-Sydney and his 340th overall.

  • Jared Arntzen (Atlanta, VA/Blue Ridge) opened the game with a bang as he won the face-off, picked up the ground ball, and scored his second career goal, all in just six seconds
  • Jake Koferl (Huntersville, NC/Lake Norman) then fed Hunter Brown (Charlottesville, VA/Albemarle) for a goal at the 14-minute mark.
  • Thomas Maher put the Eagles on the scoreboard at 6:17 to make it a 2-1 game, but H-SC scored six of the next seven goals spanning into the second quarter to squash any hopes of a Bridgewater upset.
  • H-SC would go on to lead 11-3 at halftime and 15-6 after three quarters

  • Hunter Brown (Charlottesville, VA/Albemarle) had a career-day with four goals and two assists
  • Ian Levin (Chapel Hill, NC/East Chapel Hill) found the back of the net four times

  • Jake Koferl (Huntersville, NC/Lake Norman) handed out three assists and tacked on a goal
