SALEM, VA – Hampden-Sydney Tennis fell 8-1 at Roanoke on Saturday morning followed by a 7-2 loss vs. UVA-Wise at Roanoke College in the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Harrison Stone (Durham, NC/Voyager) won a marathon match against Roanoke's Jacob Morris at #3 singles. He fell in the first set 6-1, but Stone rebounded to win the second 6-3. In the 10-point tiebreaker, he emerged victorious 12-10
• The Tigers went with doubles-format scoring for the singles matches vs. UVA-Wise as David Anderson (Williamsburg, VA/Lafayette) won the #4 singles flight 9-8 (7-5)
• Patrick Bryant (Raleigh, NC/Broughton) rolled to a win at the #6 spot, 8-1
