WINCHESTER, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College fell to the No. 2 Seed Shenandoah University 4-0 in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Tennis Quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon at the Winchester Country Club Indoor Courts.

Doubles action started with senior
Casey Coffey (Midlothian) and sophomore
Emerson Rice (Columbia, SC) teaming up in the second doubles match, where they fell 6-3. Sophomore
Jonathan Fogle (Midlothian) and freshman
Slade Funderburk (Camden, SC) were the pair in the third doubles slot, where they fell 6-2 as Shenandoah earned the doubles point. Senior
Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) and junior
Thomas Davis (Charlotte, NC) were trailing 5-4 in their doubles match, but that match went unfinished with the doubles point already being awarded.

Fogle was the first Tiger to finish his match in singles action, dropping his first set in the fourth singles match 6-2, and the second set 6-0 to drop the match. McReynolds was the next to finish for the Tigers in the second spot, dropping the first set 6-2 and the second set 6-3 to drop the match. The final match to finish was Davis in the top spot, where he battled to a tough 6-4 first set loss before falling in the second set 6-2 to end the match.

Rice's match was left unfinished with him down a set with a 6-4 loss, and trailing 5-3 in the second set. Funderburk was leading his first set 2-1, and freshman
Ben Price (Charlotte, NC) was tied 1-1 in the first set when Shenandoah took the overall match.
