HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College has earned the No. 7 seed in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Tennis Tournament and will travel to No. 2 seed Shenandoah University on Tuesday, April 28, at a time to be determined at the Lowry Tennis Courts.
 
The Tigers under head coach Grayson Burns '20 completed this season with an 8-10 record and a 4-4 record in the ODAC. H-SC fell in the quarterfinal last season to No. 6 seed Randolph College.
 
Shenandoah has an overall record of 12-5 and is 6-2 in the ODAC. This will be the first match between the two sides this season.
 
Washington and Lee University (9-10, 8-0) claimed the top seed and will take on No. 8 seed Roanoke (6-11, 3-5. Averett University (8-7, 6-2) claimed the three seed and will take on the No. 6 seed, the University of Lynchburg (8-8, 4-4). No. 4 seed Randolph (12-4, 6-2) plays No. 5 seed Virginia Wesleyan University (10-9, 4-4). Each quarterfinal match will take place on Tuesday, April 28, at the higher seed.
 
The ODAC Semifinals and Championship will take place on May 3-4 at the Outdoor Tennis Courts at Washington and Lee. The semifinals take place on Saturday, May 2, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., while the ODAC championship is tabbed for Sunday, May 3, 10 a.m. With a win over Shenandoah, H-SC would take on the winner of the Averett and Lynchburg match in the semifinals at 11 a.m.
