HOW IT HAPPENED

• All three doubles matches were close, but Andrew Loving (Charlottesville, VA/Western Albemarle) and Max Henderson (Lynchburg, VA/Liberty Christian) nearly took the win at the #3 flight but dropped it 9-7
• Harrison Stone (Durham, NC/Voyager) came within inches of winning the #2 singles flight. He won the first set 7-5 bot lost the second 6-2. In the tiebreaker, he staved off elimination at 9-8 by getting a big nine point, but Kevin Ramirez would earn the next two points to take the tiebreaker, and match, 11-9
