HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA – Washington & Lee Tennis, ranked #36 nationally and #5 in the region, defeated Hampden-Sydney 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Trent Singleton (Richmond, VA / Douglas S. Freeman) and Nathan Horvit (Columbia, MO / Rock Bridge) battled to an 8-4 loss at #2 doubles. Patrick Bryant (Raleigh, NC / Broughton) and Horvit fell 6-2, 6-0 at #2 and #4 singles while Jed Dittmar (Charlottesville, VA / Covenant) went 6-1, 6-0 at the #5 flight.

Hampden-Sydney will play Emory & Henry College Sunday at noon on the campus of Sweet Briar College.
