FARMVILLE, VA – Division I Longwood University defeated Hampden-Sydney Tennis 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

Trent Singleton (Richmond, VA / Douglas S. Freeman) and Nathan Horvit (Columbia, MO / Rock Bridge) fell 3-8 at the #3 doubles flight. The two also saw some success in singles competition with Singleton going 2-6, 1-6 at #2 and Horvit 2-6, 2-6 at the #5 spot. David Anderson (Williamsburg, VA / Lafayette) found similar success at the #4 spot, dropping a 2-6, 1-6 decision.

The Tigers are scheduled to host Washington & Lee on Saturday at 1:30.
