ASHLAND, VA (April 12, 2007)– Hampden-Sydney College's tennis won its regular-season finale with a 9-0 victory over Randolph-Macon College on Thursday. The entire team performed well, including a solid singles victory for Ryan Eu (Reston, VA/Paul VI). With the win, Hampden-Sydney improves to 9-5 on the season and 5-4 in the ODAC, while the Yellow Jackets drop to 1-11 overall and 0-9 in the conference.

Hampden-Sydney's William Moss (Fredericksburg, VA/Fredericksburg) defeated John Best, 6-0, 6-1 in #1 singles competition to improve to 11-1 on the season and finish 8-0 against Old Dominion Athletic Conference competition. Doug Stumborg (Virginia Beach, VA/First Colonial) earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory in #5 singles.
