HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (March 23, 2007)–Hampden-Sydney's tennis team increased its winning streak to three matches as the Tigers scored a 8-1 victory over Ferrum College on Friday at the H-SC Courts. With the win, the Tigers improve to 4-2 on the season, while the Panters fall to 1-11 overall.

Freshman William Moss (Fredericksburg, VA/Fredericksburg) improved to 4-1 on the season in #1 singles as he scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Ferrum's Mike Sampson. The Tigers swept the panthers in singles, while taking two of the three doubles matches. Jenks Snyder (Rock Hill, SC/Woodberry Forrest) improved to 3-2 on the season with a win in #4 singles.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, March 25 as Hampden-Sydney will travel to Virginia Beach, VA to face Virginia Wesleyan College. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
