ROANOKE, VA (March 20, 2007)–Hampden-Sydney won its second consecutive match as the Tigers scored a 6-3 victory over ODAC-rival Emory and Henry College on Tuesday. With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-2 (2-1 ODAC) on the season. Emory and Henry drops to 6-5 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
Freshman William Moss (Fredericksburg, VA/Fredericksburg) improved to 3-1 on the season in #1 singles as he scored a 6-0, 6-1 victory over the Wasps' Dan Mansmann. Also turning in a solid performance was Andrew McLeod (Mandeville, Jamaica/Manchester) as he won in #5 singles.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, March 23 as Hampden-Sydney will host Ferrum College at the H-SC Courts. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.
