HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College had two Tigers selected to the 2026 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Baseball Teams, as announced today by the conference office. Sophomore third baseman Connor Powell (Midlothian) was named Second Team All-ODAC, while freshman shortstop Mason Lester (Lawrence, KS) was named Third Team All-ODAC, in voting among the conference head coaches.
 
Connor Powell started 34 of 36 games with a batting average of .321 (45-140), four home runs, three triples, nine doubles, 28 runs scored, 34 RBIs, three walks, 10 hit by pitches, one sacrifice bunt and 15-19 stolen bases. He had a .514 slugging percentage, a .377 on-base percentage and an .859 fielding percentage on 71 total chances (36 putouts, 25 assists, 10 errors). Connor led the team with 16 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games, while tied for third in the ODAC in triples, tied for eighth in stolen bases, tied for 14th in hit by pitches, tied for 20th in home runs, 25th in at bats and tied for 25th in RBIs.
 
Mason Lester started 37 of 40 games with a batting average of .274 (32-117), one triple, six doubles, 24 runs scored, 16 RBIs, 26 walks, five hit by pitches, three sacrifice flies, four sacrifice bunts and 6-8 stolen bases. He had a .342 slugging percentage, a .417 on-base percentage and a .929 fielding percentage on 156 total chances (44 putouts, 101 assists, 11 errors). Mason had eight multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games, while tied for eighth in the ODAC in sacrifice bunts, tied for 20th in walks and tied for 24th in sacrifice flies.
