FOREST, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2024-25 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in each of the conference's sponsored winter and spring sports. The squads are composed of a student-athlete selected by the coaching staffs of each team competing under the conference banner with all sports and schools fully represented.

"Sportsmanship and respect are fundamental to the ODAC's mission," said ODAC Commissioner Brad Bankston. "These student-athletes have been recognized for their commitment to fair play and respect for their opponents—qualities that deserve greater recognition. I thank these honorees for setting an outstanding example for all of us."

The ODAC has a rich tradition in promoting fair play and good sportsmanship in each sport across the league. The character of the conference's student-athletes on and off the field is a representation of not only the individuals and teams, but also the institutions for which they play.

Hampden-Sydney is represented on the winter teams by basketball senior Nick Shryock (Davidson, NC), swimming senior Brandon Hyde (Thousand Oaks, CA) and indoor distance track sophomore Jackson Herndon (Chatham). Representing the Tigers on the spring teams are baseball senior Christian Lancaster (Danville), golf senior Nick Rubino (Charlotte, NC), lacrosse senior Stuart Kyle (Leesburg), tennis junior Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) and outdoor distance track fifth-year Carter Burcham (Rockville).

The 6-4 guard added 20 steals and five blocks, along with career highs of 15 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
