2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Teams (PDF)
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Junior team captain
Dillon McReynolds (Abingdon) has been named a member of the
2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) for NCAA Division III. The Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Dillon is being named for the second straight season, after earning a spot on the 2023-24 team.
Dillon McReynolds is a Biology major and Neuroscience minor at the college with a 3.94 GPA. McReynolds is a three-year member of the tennis team and was named team captain in the spring for the second season. This spring, McReynolds posted a 10-13 singles record between the two, three and four singles and a 10-12 record between the one, two, and three doubles. Off the court, McReynolds is a member of two professional fraternities, Alpha Chi Sigma and Alpha Epsilon Delta. He is involved with the Garnet and Grey Society, the Pre-Health Society, and the Vice President for the Hampden-Sydney Mentor Program.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 4.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
