HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College is the No. 7 seed for the
2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Baseball Tournament, and will play a Best-of-Three Quarterfinal series at No. 2 seed and archrival (RV)Randolph-Macon College, beginning on Saturday, May 3, at 11 a.m. in Ashland. Game two is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m., and a third game, if necessary, is set for Sunday, May 4, at 12 p.m.

H-SC has an overall record of 18-20 after completing the ODAC regular season at 10-12 in conference games under first-year head coach
Michael Mulvey. The Tigers have been led at the plate this season by sophomore
Jase Howell (Portsmouth) (.382, 1 HR, 5 2Bs, 26 RBIs, 2 SBs), senior team captain
Grayson Harris (Moseley) (.367, 1 3B, 10 2Bs, 19 RBIs, 16 SBs) and junior team captain
Chase Sanford (Mechanicsville) (.363, 2 HRs, 4 3Bs, 8 2Bs, 22 RBIs, 7 SBs). Junior right-hander and team captain
Alex Fitz-Hugh (Chesterfield) (4-3, 2.80 ERA, 45.0 IP, 46K, 2 saves), senior right-hander
Gavin Gregory (Suffolk) (2-3, 4.01 ERA, 51.2 IP, 35K) and freshman left-hander
Noah Lewis (Crewe) (3-1, 5.85 ERA, 47.2 IP, 65K) have led the mound efforts this spring. The Garnet & Grey were scheduled to host Christopher Newport University on Monday, April 28.

RMC has an overall record of 24-12, finishing 15-7 in the ODAC, and are scheduled to play at Methodist (NC) on Tuesday, April, 29. The Yellow Jackets received one vote in last week's ABCA/NCAA Division III Coaches Poll. RMC won the two regular season games played this season, winning 10-3 on April 1 at H-SC, and 5-4 in 11 innings on April 16 in Ashland.

Digital Tickets will be sold online through the
RMC Box Office powered by HomeTown Ticketing. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth and high school students age 5 through 12th grade, and free for college students with valid ID, as well as for children four and under. There will also be cash and/or credit card sales available on-site.

ODAC Tournament Series History
H-SC and RMC last met in the ODAC Tournament in 2023 when the fourth-seeded Yellow Jackets took a quarterfinal series win by scores of 2-0 and 9-8 against the fifth-seeded Tigers on May 5-6 in Ashland. H-SC is 3-8 all-time versus RMC in ODAC Tournament games since 1977 … the last postseason win against the Yellow Jackets in 2010—a 10-4 victory at City Stadium in Lynchburg.

Nationally-ranked No. 3 the University of Lynchburg (33-6, 18-4) is the top seed for the ODAC Baseball Tournament and will host No. 8 seed Ferrum College (20-19, 9-13) in another best-of-three series, while No. 3 seed Bridgewater College (24-13-1, 14-7-1) is hosting No. 6 seed Averett University (19-14, 11-11), and No. 4 seed (RV)Shenandoah University (25-14, 14-8) is hosting No. 5 seed Roanoke College (19-19-1, 11-10-1).
