HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College placed eight student-athletes on the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Conference Men's Soccer Teams, including one First Team, four Second Team, and three Third Team. The eight honorees are the most the program has received in one season, and ties the University of Lynchburg for the most this season.

Senior forward
Walker Stebbings (Forest) was the lone Tiger on the First Team. Senior
Victor Ovalle-Mares (Atlanta, GA), juniors
Mauricio Jimenez (Homestead, FL) and
Tyler Petz (Cary, NC), along with sophomore
Zakky Johnston (Meherrin), were named to the Second Team. Seniors
Mason Dudley (Virginia Beach) and
Charlie Letson (Wilmington, NC), as well as freshman
Stig Larson (Richmond), earned Third Team honors.

Stebbings, a Third Team All-ODAC selection in 2024, earned First Team honors for the first time in his career. He started all but one game he played this season. He was the joint-top goalscorer on the Tigers with five goals while adding two assists for 12 points on the season. He scored in four games this season, including a two-goal performance to beat the University of Lynchburg.

Ovalle-Mares earns All-ODAC honors for the first time in his career with the Second Team selection. He started all 18 games this season for the Tigers, scoring three goals and adding four assists for 10 points. Victor scored and assisted to help the H-SC defeat Randolph 4-1 and move on to the ODAC Tournament Semifinals. Ovalle-Mares earned ODAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on November 3, scoring once and adding two assists during the week.

Jimenez has earned All-ODAC honors for the first time in his career with the Second Team selection. He started all 18 games on the backline for the Tigers. He played the full 90 minutes on 13 of 18 occasions, helping H-SC allow less than a goal a game and secure seven shutouts.

Petz earns All-ODAC honors for the first time in his career with the Second Team selection. He started all 16 games he played this season, scoring one goal and having a team and ODAC high nine assists for 11 points. Tyler ranks in a tie for 30th in Division III in assists. He started the season with two assists in the season-opening 5-1 win over Marymount University, and had assists in the following two games. Petz earned ODAC Defensive Player of the Week on September 15, when he scored a goal and tallied an assist, while helping H-SC secure a shutout.

Johnston, a Third Team All-ODAC selection in 2022, has earned Second Team honors for the first time. He played in all 18 games, making 15 starts, scoring four goals, and adding an assist for nine points. He scored two of his four goals in a 3-1 win over Guilford (NC) College on October 4.

Dudley earns All-ODAC honors for the first time with his Third Team selection. He is the joint-top goalscorer for the Tigers with five goals, while adding one assist for 11 points. He scored four goals that proved to be the game-winner, two more than anyone else on the team.

Letson, a Second Team All-ODAC selection in 2024, has earned Third Team honors for the first time. He has started all 17 games he has played, scoring four goals for eight points. He scored in four separate games, including a goal in the 3-1 regular season finale win over Randolph-Macon College to help secure the No. 3 seed in the ODAC Tournament.

Larson earns Third Team honors in his first season for the Garnet and Grey. The goalie started all 18 games this season, playing every minute in net for H-SC. He has a 13-3-2 record on the year with seven shutouts, making 42 saves and posting a .83 goals against average. Larson earned ODAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on October 6, posting one shutout and seven saves over a two-game stretch.Â
