2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships being played at The Green Course at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg. Freshman
Jack Barnes (Manakin Sabot) is leading the Tigers with his one-over par 73 that has him tied for fourth individually among the 55 conference golfers. The Garnet & Grey are only eight shots out of first place with two rounds yet to play.
Barnes was consistent during his first round on the par 72, 6,981-yard layout, posting one birdie and 15 pars, while just one shot off the lead. He is being followed by junior
John Hutcheson (Edina, MN) (76, T-18th), classmates
Nick Rubino (Charlotte, NC) (78, T-26th) and
Rece Lott (Fort Worth, TX) (78, T-26th), along with senior
Tommy Bishop (Jacksonville, FL) (80, T-34th). Hutcheson had two birdies and 11 pars, Rubino and Lott each had two birdies and 10 pars, and Bishop had two birdies and nine pars.

James Alden of GC, Cannon Crane of W&L and Michael Schaal of Randolph-Macon College are each tied for first individually at even-par 72.
