Box Score ORLANDO, Fl- After enduring two rains delays, Hampden-Sydney College (2-3) staged a comeback to grab the 5-3 win over John Carroll (OH) Wednesday. It was a victory that Head Coach
Byron Balkin was extremely proud of as his young team was able to overcome the day's adversity. "This match had it all. Two rain delays, down 1-2 after doubles, and finishing the match on two courts to clinch with all six singles matches still to be finished", said Coach Balkin "Our guys were together the entire time, working through each situation until the finish. Really proud of our team today".
The Tigers No. 1 doubles match featured Fr.
Barrett Foster (Virginia Beach, VA), teaming with Sr.
Tyler Brice (Rocky Mount, NC) to grind out an 8-7 win, giving their team the early 1-0 advantage. Hampden-Sydney would drop the next two matches with Fr.

Matt Kendrick (Birmingham, AL) falling in No. 2 doubles, 8-6, while Fr.
Taylor Fox (Virginia Beach, VA) and Fr.

The Blue Streaks took the No. 3 match, but Borden and Kendrick each came away with a win in their respective matches to help give Hampden-Sydney the 5-3 victory, for their second win of the spring season.
