DJ Wright/Greensboro, GA, averaging 9.5 points off the bench with a team-best five three-point field goals; junior
Jack Wyatt/Richmond averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds; and sophomore
Ryan Clements/Conyers, GA averaging 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The Tigers are shooting 36% (48-133) from the field, including 33% (13-40) on three-pointers, and 75% (15-20) at the free throw line, while averaging 62.0 points and allowing 75.0 points

R-MC is coached by sixth-year head coach Josh Merkel, who is assisted by Dave Matturro, Brett Barron and Shawn Boggs. The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 1 in the
Basketball Times Division III Preseason Top 20, won on the road at Salisbury (MD) 79-55 on Jan. 27. The defending ODAC regular season and tournament champions have been led through their first three games by senior All-American and two-time ODAC Player of the Year Buzz Anthony, averaging 19.0 points and 6.0 assists; sophomore Miles Mallory, averaging 14.0 points and 8.0 rebounds; classmate Josh Talbert, averaging 11.3 points; and senior Lorenzo Woods, averaging 10.7 points. R-MC is shooting 47% (84-180) from the field, 35% (21-60) on three-pointers, and 68% (25-37) at the line, while averaging 71.3 points and allowing only 56.0 points.
Series History vs. Randolph-Macon
H-SC and R-MC are playing for the 153rd time since 1956. The Yellow Jackets lead the series, 97-55, though their advantage as members of the ODAC since 1989 is closer at 45-31. R-MC has won seven-straight games between the two schools, including three games last season: 82-64 at H-SC (11/23/19), 84-58 at R-MC (2/19/20) and 80-61 in Salem at the ODAC Tournament Quarterfinals (2/28/20). The last win in the series by the Tigers came during the 2016-17 season at H-SC (63-56, 2/1/17).

Ryan Clements scored 19 points, but No. 8 seed H-SC dropped a season-ending 80-61 decision to No. 1 seed and nationally-ranked No. 5 R-MC in the quarterfinals of the 2020 ODAC Tournament at the Salem Civic Center in Salem.
Jack Wyatt added 15 points for the Tigers, who trailed 40-24 at halftime before closing to within 64-57 with 6:36 remaining. H-SC shot 41% (18-44) from the field, including 38% (6-16) on three-pointers, and 70% (19-27) at the line.
Josh Talbert led R-MC with a game-high 20 points. ODAC Player and Scholar-Athlete of the Year Buzz Anthony finished with 18 points for the Yellow Jackets. R-MC shot 37% (28-75) from the field, including 29% (14-48) on three-pointers, and 77% (10-13) at the line.
