In Roanoke on Saturday H-SC Rugby defeated host Roanoke 43-7 and on Sunday defeated Emory and Henry 41-13 to win the Challene Division Cardinal Collegiate Rugby Conference tournament championship. On Saturday, Hampden-Sydney had 6 tries, 5 conversions, 1 PK and 1 bonus point to Roanoke's 1 try and 1 conversion. On Sunday, H-SC had 5 tries, 5 conversions, 2 PK and 1 bonus point to E&H's 2 tries and 1 PK. The CCRC championship qualifies H-SC to compete in this weekend's National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) playoffs. H-SC will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Region Championship in Raleigh, NC.
