Meadowview, VA. The Hampden-Sydney Rugby Football Club rolled past Emory & Henry University this past Saturday in a 41-10 victory over the Wasps. After initially giving up a score in the opening ninety seconds, the Tigers mounted a dominant counter attack, reaching the try-zone seven times the rest of the game, while keeping E&H far removed from scoring opportunities. Led by two scores from junior Elijah Thompson, plus tries by: senior Jackson Cofer, senior Robert (Bobby) Parke IV, junior Doran Glass III, sophomore Henry Presberg and freshman Graham Wilson (in addition to three successful conversions from junior Tristan Leidig), the gentlemen displayed poise and strength that allowed them to score at will. 

The Tigers have a bye next week before hosting Elon University on September 19th at 1:00 p.m. for the first of four home games this fall.
