On Saturday the H-SC Rugby team visited Radford, Virginia and defeated the Highlanders 60-17. The win moves H-SC to 4-2 and Radford to 2-4 for the fall 2019 season. For the match, Hampden-Sydney had 10 tries, 5 conversions, and one bonus point for a total of 60 points. Radford had 3 tries and one conversion for 17 points in the loss. H-SC is tied with Southern Virginia and Washington and Lee at the top of the Fall 2019 Hybrid Division of the Cardinals Collegiate Rugby Conference (CCRC). H-SC also leads the division in points scored. Up next for the Tigers will be the first round of the CCRC tournament in Roanoke, VA on Saturday, November 9th.
