HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Pacers took an early advantage, leading 10-6 four minutes in, but the Tigers started taking over the half from there, building up a five-point advantage, 22-17, with 9:11 to go in the first half
  • H-SC would lead by as many as nine in the opening stanza, and went into halftime up 42-36 following a Guilherme Guimaraes dunk a few seconds before the buzzer
  • The Tigers continued to lead by six, 54-48, with 13:32 left in the game, but William Peace used a 9-2 spurt over two minutes to take a one-point lead.
  • Tied at 65-65 at 7:55, the Pacers gradually pulled away and led 78-70 with 1:43 on the clock
  • Jake Duncan connected on a three pointer 30 seconds later to cut the deficit to five, but the Pacers were able to hold the Tigers scoreless the rest of the way to hold on for the win
