LEXINGTON, VA – Washington and Lee shut down Hampden-Sydney Soccer on their way to a 2-0 ODAC win on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Dylan Ritch opened the scoring in the 25th minute off an unassisted tally
• W&L's defense answered the call and held the Tigers to just three shots in the opening half to make it a 1-0 game going into intermission
• The stingy defense kept up after halftime and Ritch added on an insurance goal in the 63rd minute off a Will Hamryka assist
