HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Hampden-Sydney College is the No. 7 seed in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men's Soccer Tournament and will play the No. 2 seed Bridgewater College in the quarterfinals on Saturday, October 31, at 3 p.m. at the Bridgewater Soccer Complex.
 
This will be the second time these two sides meet this season, with the Tigers falling 1-0 at Bridgewater on Saturday, October 24. It is the first time the sides will meet in the ODAC tournament in over 20 years, with the previous meeting taking place on October 29, 2005, that saw the Eagles win on a penalty shootout.
 
No. 11 University of Lynchburg (12-1-4, 6-0-3) grabbed the top spot in the ODAC Tournament with a 4-1 victory over Randolph on Wednesday. Bridgewater (10-4-3, 5-1-3) claimed second after winning a three-way tiebreaker with third-seed Shenandoah University (8-3-6, 5-1-3) and fourth-seed, nationally 19th-ranked Washington and Lee University (11-2-3, 5-1-3) to round out the hosts. Randolph-Macon College (8-3-3, 5-2-2) earned the fifth seed, with Batten University (4-5-8, 3-2-4) claiming the sixth seed in front of the Tigers in seventh. Guilford (NC) College (4-7-5, 3-3-3) earned the final spot with a 2-2 tie against Roanoke on Wednesday.
 
The quarterfinals will be hosted by the top four seeds on Saturday, October 31. The four winners will then take part in the semifinals in normal bracket progression on Wednesday, November 4. The highest remaining seed of the two finalists will host the championship on Saturday, November 7.
