HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After a challenge to stop a forward and an awkward bounce of the ball left Cameron McFarlane (Norwich, CT / South Kent) out of the goal, Colin Foley sent a high arching shot that went just inside the right crossbar at 21:42 to give the Wasps a 1-0 lead

  • The Tigers started out the second half playing more aggressively and Hunter Weiland (Raleigh, NC / Heritage) finished off a Ryan Turner (Raleigh, NC / Sanderson) pass in the 67th minute to draw within one.
  • Just over four minutes later, H-SC was forced to play man down the rest of the way. The Tigers were able to mount a few promising chances but were never able to capitalize.
