• The Maroons' Jackson Goyette pounced on a misplayed ball and beat the goalkeeper to make it a 2-0 game at 55:15
• Hunter Weiland (Raleigh, NC / Heritage) got the Tigers on board in the 69^th minute when he took an Adam Christensen (Avon, IN / Covenant Christian) pass and put it inside the ride goalpost after his initial shot got blocked
• Josiah Fleming (San Antonio, TX / Monticello) notched his first career goal at 83:51 to tie the game and sent it to overtime
• Just one minute into overtime, Christensen scored what everyone thought was the game-winner, but a late whistle waived off due to being offside
• Lentine then notched the golden goal in the 95^th minute
