FROSTBURG, MD - Swimming opened the season at Frostburg State University on Saturday, defeating Gallaudet 164-65 but losing to FSU 160-95 and Davis & Elkins 167-87.

TIGERS TOP PERFORMANCES

• Jared Moorman, Andrew Long, Hudson Elmore, and Conor Roberson placed third in the 200 meter medley relay with a time of 2:02.89, good for third in H-SC history
• Moorman won the 50 meter backstroke, hitting the stopping block at 30.35
• John Dickerson completed the 50 meter breaststroke in 35.42 for third
• Elmore took first in the 100 meter butterfly, stopping the clock at 1:02.33 to break the school record by over two seconds
• Moorman took top billing at 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:05.90, also breaking the school record by over two seconds
• Elmore placed second in the 50 meter butterfly, clocking in at 28.64
• The quartet of Moorman, Roberson, Tate Socha, and Elmore finished third in the 200 meter freestyle relay with a time of 1:52.76
• Roberson smashed the school record in the 400 meter freestyle by over 14 seconds with a time of 5:12.25
