LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Sophomore
Quinlan Ragsdale (Charlottesville, VA) grabbed two event wins as Hampden-Sydney College competed against Randolph College on Saturday afternoon at the Bateman Aquatic Center.
The Tigers took second-place finishes in both the relay events, with the foursome of Ragsdale, junior
Owen Renfrow (Bowling Green, KY), freshman
Ryan Barnett (Killeen, TX), and freshman
Nikolias Theriault (Poland, ME) posting a time of 1:56.37 in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, and a 1:46.18 in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Ragsdale's victories took place in his only two events, first taking a win in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 26.53, and closing with a win in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 22.87.
Renfrow put up two season-best times, starting with a 25.93 in the 50 Yard Freestyle and finishing with a 27.54 in the 50 Yard Butterfly.
Barnett had a season-best time of 35.07 in the 50 Yard Breaststroke and put up a 29.37 second time in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
Theriault had a season-best time in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 36.56 seconds and added a time of 30.11 in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
The Tigers will be back in action when they close out the regular season against Bridgewater College at 1 p.m. at Nininger Hall Pool.
