RICHMOND, VA–Three serious injuries in Saturday's semi-finals sent H-SC into the finals against W&L at less than full strength. Washington & Lee dominated the first half, scoring four tries, with three conversions. H-SC answered back in the 46th minute with a try scored by Peter Keenen. The rest of the half, however, was all Generals, as they scored five tries with four conversions. The Tigers ended up second in D3, ahead of CNU, Emory and Henry, Roanoke College, and Lynchburg College. Although the team's season record was 2-7, this year bodes well for the future. Sixty-nine of the team's 107 points were put up by freshmen players.
