GREENSBORO, NC - Swimming rolled to a 123-39 win over Greensboro College on Friday night and won nine of the 10 events
David Anderson, Ryan Mitchell, Conor O'Heir, and Lee Ayscue took top billing in the 200 yard medley relay at 1:48.78, and Mitchell also won the 200 yard freestyle in 2:01.15. Ford Scott placed first in the 50 yard free with a time of 23.51, David Anderson won the 200 yard IM in 2:22.27. O'Heir also won the 100 yard butterfly, finishing in 59.20.
Scott narrowly edged teammate Ayscue in the 100 yard free, finishing in 55.00 seconds, just 0.1 ahead of Ayscue. Anderson posted a 1:05.03 in the 100 yard backstroke, and Mitchell won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.41. The 200 yard free relay team of Calvin Charles, Connor Lachine, Grant Brown, and Scott took first in 1:38.82.
The Tigers round out their season with the ODAC Championship meet at Greensboro College on February 7-9, but the Tigers will not be competing for the Championship as men's swimming is not an ODAC-sponsored sport.
