An Obradovic steal led to a driving Murray layup to cut the deficit to just 61-60 with 36 ticks left on the scoreboard. The Tigers tried to get a steal but couldn't and were forced to foul with 27 seconds remaining. Dom Morra made both freebies and Murray turned over the ball on the Tigers ensuing possession and fouled Riester with 13 seconds left. Riester made both free throws to make it 65-60.
