HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA - The Hampden-Sydney Swimming team hosted their first home meet on Friday evening. Team scores were not available at press time.

Jackson Clayton-Luce took home top honors in the 50 meter freestyle, completing the race in 25.04, and Ryan Mitchell placed first in the 200 meter IM, finishing in 2:22.85.

David Anderson, Mitchell, Conor O'Heir, and Lee Ayscue took second in the 200 meter medley relay at 1:59.09. Clayton-Luce and O'Heir completed the 100 meter butterfly respectively in 1:04.69 and 1:08.57 to place second and third. Mitchel also placed second in the 100 meter breaststroke, clocking in at 1:12.63. Clayton-Luce, Ford Scott, Grant Brown, and Ayscue rounded out the meet with a second place finish in the 200 meter freestyle relay at 1:46.64.

The Tigers travel to Greensboro, NC, for a dual meet vs. Greensboro College on at 2 pm on November 23.
